Live forró day at DeRaiz with Creeping Herb Trio. The group brings a repertoire with classic songs from baião, quadrilha, xaxado, xote, drag-pé, bate-chinela and other forró rhythms. In addition, the trio sings their own compositions and those of other artists from Florianópolis. The trio Erva Rasteira is a remnant of a project that began in 1999, in Florianópolis, when forró was making a resurgence, with names like “Falamansa” popping up all over Brazil. At that time the band was formed by seven musicians, founders of Erva Rasteira. Coming from the reggae band "Tatuíra", Késia Alves on vocals, Kiko Knabben on tambourine and percussion and Guto Costa on zabumba created "Erva Rasteira" inviting musicians Henrique Soares on vocals and triangle, from the band "Ilha de Nós", Vicente Piacentini on guitar, Andrey Riley on bass and violinist Bruno Jacomel from Camerata Florianópolis. A few years later, with the departure of Vicente, Andrey and Guto Costa, guitarist Marcos Vinícius (Lêle), bassist Beto Azavedo (Sabiá) and percussionist Andre FM on zabumba joined the group. The accordion became part of the group even later, giving greater emphasis to the characteristics of forró.
