Thais Nogueira Alves de Oliveira, born in the city of Aracaju in 1991, her parents are the singer and accordionist Erivaldo de Carira and the composer Dina Nogueira. brothers Erivaldinho and Mestrinho, who sing and play accordion, being known in Aracaju Sergipe as the musical Carira family.
At the age of 12, he joined his father's band as backing vocalist and made special appearances in shows alongside his brother Mestrinho. It was 2 years of tour where soon after they decided to pursue a career as a duo: Mestrinho and Thais, the irresistible forró. He was also part of a Forró Trio called Trio Juriti.
