Trio Potiguá is considered one of the greatest forró trios in Brazil, and its musicians have a career spanning over 40 years. Formed by the brothers Zezinho Preá (accordion and voice) and João Preá (zabumba and voice), born in Montanhas in Rio Grande Norte and his cousin Severo Gomes (triangle and voice) born in the neighboring city of Coité do Pedro Velho, they were initiated in music still in his childhood accompanying the master of the accordion from Potiguar Luís Preá, father of the brothers.
