In a new edition, the Hybrid Musical party at Noca's house mixture Francois Muleka e Skrotes. With inescapable influences from Brazilian music, American canned hits and traditional African music, composer François Muleka mixes whistling melodies with a percussive way of playing the guitar, making what he affectionately calls batuquinhos. The band Skrotes is Brazilian music. No, jazz. Suddenly, he becomes punk. Or samba. Metal. electronics. classic. It's all that and it's none of that: it's the Skrotes. The fusion of styles poured by Igor De Patta (piano and keyboards), Chico Abreu (bass) and Guilherme Ledoux (drums and percussion) insinuates itself more cohesively, random and willing to establish rules only to break them later.
