The DeRoot presents the Geography Collective, born in November 2011, in Bosque da UFSC, by a group of friends who collected and researched Jamaican music and influences. Inspired by the famous sound system, a ghetto culture that included the dissemination of various vinyls, with speakers and amplifiers, on the streets of Jamaica. They have performed alongside several reggae artists from the national and international scene, until in 2015 it was possible to build their own sound system. To complete the night, sound with Africa Mother of the Lion, which will be represented by two of the team members, selector Erick A. Silva 'Poor' and the great singer/toaster/mc Ualê Figura on the microphone.
