This Thursday, the project Sitting on the Noca receives, for the first time, the Free Percussion Group (GLiP). The group is composed of André FM, Diogo Costa, Osvaldo Pomar and Marcio Bicaco and proposes a rhythmic and timbristic universe favored by percussion, interpreting works of an erudite, folkloric and ethnic character in formations of quartets, trios, duos and solos. In the repertoire there are improvisations with different formations and instruments, interpretations of pieces by different authors such as Ney Rosauro, Stefano Ottomano, Steve Reich, Bill Molenhof, Austin Wrinkle, Chico Santana, among others. The group also interprets pieces by musicians and composers from Santa Catarina, or who have already lived here, such as those by Rodrigo Paiva, Iê Dos Santos and Luiz Sampaio.
