The schedule for this edition of the Today is Jazz Day Baby, has musical performances, artistic workshops and storytelling. The afternoon opens with Mind The Gap Trio, which invites the Argentine saxophonist Sebastian Caballaro. Formed by virtuosos of instrumental music from Santa Catarina, the trio is known for its repertoire that mixes several aspects of jazz, emphasizing swing and bebop. In addition to musical performances, activities such as clay modeling workshops and the educational game Cobblestone Poem, a project conceived by the art-educator, composer and musician Marcoliva; and the workshop with jerivá palm bark, with the artist Nita from Faces Brazil. THE mufflers, a creative and research company focused on childhood culture, is also on the program. The storytelling group presents a selection of stories and songs.
