To samba-rock lovers, a warning: marelua gather his friends this Saturday and go on a sound attack at Casa de Noca. Who completes the sheet of the night are the special guests, the percussionists Tiko do tambourine, CopaLord's Nan e Andre Tantan. The multicultural space opens at 22 pm and the musical performance starts at midnight.
The band Marelua is formed by musicians who already worked in the Florianopolitan music scene. Léo Vieira, vocalist and composer, is the creator of the project that also brings: Henrique Soares, Neto Fernandes, Nilinho Adriano, Dido da Cuíca, Rafael Leandro, Thiago Grando, Uilian Pimenta, Jean Carlos, Carlão, Rafael Thiesen. The band proposes to make the true and pure samba/rock, seeking to rescue the roots of this movement, valuing the balance and thus awakening the interest in dance that is little remembered nowadays. The influences are diverse and from different aspects of music, but always respecting the language of “sambalanço”, maintaining a strong and characteristic identity. Among the explored rhythms we can highlight: Samba/Rock, Funk, Soul, Samba de Gafieira, Partido Alto, Jazz, Salsa, Rock N' Roll, Bossa Nova, Modern Instrumental Music. And, it is from this varied source that their own compositions arise, which mirror the eclectic vein of the musicians involved. Entitled "Salve Simpatia", the show seeks to rescue the essence of this contagious energy that appears as a slight tingling in the foot, moving to a more advanced stage, taking the peace of the hips and finally, almost imperceptibly, takes over the whole body. and soul unbalancing, in a harmonious way, the inertia of the being.Start: 13/07/2014 01:00
