This Friday, the Noca's house promotes an evening dedicated to the master of funk soul, Tim Maia. The show will be performed by Gustavo Barreto & Soul Session Big Band. Recognized as one of the gurus of Brazilian Soul Music, the event presents a summary of Tim's work with songs that marked the artist's history.
Gustavo Barreto is a singer, songwriter and guitarist who has a long trajectory in the music of Florianópolis and is a precursor of Funk/Soul in the city and has played alongside important artists, among them: Gerson King Combo, Di Melo, Luiz Carlini, Paulinho Moska and Luiz Meira. “Soul Session Big Band” features Anderson Barba (Smoking Beats and Caricas) on bass, André FM on drums, Buiú Modanezi on percussion, Willian Franklin Ritta on keyboards and a heavyweight suit, Paulinho Trompete (Trio Santo Amaro, Dazaranha) and Hemerson Calandrini on the Trombone.
