The idea is to rescue the experimentation and sound of Sociedade Soul, taking to the extreme the possibilities and sound resources of the quartet formation. In the wake of the recently released EP Coral Background, the disc was recorded independently in the band's own studio and mixed at Hand Made Studio. Formed in 2008, Sociedade Soul mixes funk and soul with rock, jazz with electronic music, adding the Latin spice of rhythms such as salsa and samba to create a unique sound, extremely danceable and 'swinging'. With an infectious groove, tuned to the future, the quartet: Gustavo Barreto (vocals and guitar), André FM (drums and percussion), Diego Carqueja (keyboard and synthesizers) and Marco “Nego” Aurelius (bass and voice) actively represents the scene and the power of current Brazilian music. In 2010, the band released their first album with unreleased compositions and songs already known to the public.
