This Saturday the program is special at Casa do SambaHere! Night with band show Island Samba, which features great samba classics. Currently, the group is formed by musicians Anderson Marques (7-string guitar and choir), pitter william (chip and voice), Guima Santos (grinding wheel and voice), Leonardo de Oliveira (tambourine and choir) and wellington da silva (deaf). To complete, the party still counts with the presence of the serenader and samba dancer Maria Helena de Azevedo. Carioca and member of the Velha-Guarda of Protegidos da Princesa, Maria Helena is one of the best known voices of music on the Island.
In addition, there will be the premiere of the photographic exhibition Lusco Fusco, Victor Shimomura, depicting the Sambaqui sunset in 17 photographs. The exhibition will open at 17 pm and will remain throughout the month of August on the walls of the House.Start: 09/08/2014 20:00
