Fostering the literature produced in Santa Catarina is one of the objectives of the PIPA Literature Festival - For the Amplified Word Island, which reaches its fourth edition in 2022. Conceived by writers and cultural producers Demetrius Panarotto e Juliana Ben, which form the PIPA collective, the free event will be promoted between the 21st and 25th of June.
PIPA, held annually, seeks to channel the rich production of authors from Santa Catarina. And according to the creators, the Festival wants to add to the other existing events and move even more the artistic and cultural scene of Florianópolis and Santa Catarina.
Since the first edition, PIPA has shown that it would be a decentralized, plural and open event to the community. So much so that it was held in various spaces in the city, such as UFSC, IFSC, Colégio de Aplicação, Think Art Tattoo and Espaço Agenda.
