Practice ecotourism without leaving home, safely and with lots of information. These are the main goals of 5ª edition of Watch Costa Verde & Sea – Birds from My Window, scheduled for Sunday morning (30). Free, the event is open for registration, which can be done via email. institutealouatta@uol.com.br until Friday (28).
At the event, laypeople and observation practitioners from any part of the world can practice at home, stimulating their eyes to see the birds that pass by their windows. To have more information about the techniques and species found, biologists will accompany the group live, through a virtual room.
For practice, it is necessary for participants to have a camera or cell phone to record the birds and, if possible, capture the song.
The species recorded during the event will be cataloged and the images will be included in the Bird Identification Guide available free of charge at www.costaverdemar.com.br.

The activity is one of the practices that are part of the Ecotourism and Adventure Roadmap of Green Coast & Sea, in Santa Catarina. The tourist region is considered one of the most favorable for the practice due to its proximity to areas of preserved forest, rivers and seas.
