8th Edition of the Panorama Digital Festival of Swiss Cinema has an online version

Digital Panorama of Swiss Cinema reaches its 8th edition, the first online, with many new features in 2020. The event, which seeks to bring Brazilians closer to Swiss film production, features 14 films and two short programs, which will be screened for free on the platform Sesc Digital (Click here), from August 27 to September 6. 

The program has nine fictions: “Needle Baby Square"(Platzspitzbaby – 2020) by Pierre Monnard, “Hunting season"(jagdzeit – 2020), by Sabine Boss, “Bruno Manser – The Voice of the Forest” (Bruno Manser – Die Stimme des Regenwaldes – 2019), by Niklaus Hilber, “those who work"(Ceux qui Workaillent – 2018), by Antoine Russbach, “In the Middle of the Horizon"(Le Milieu de l'horizon – 2019), by Delphine Lehericey, “The Wind Changes"(Le Vent Tourne – 2018), by Bettina Oberli, in addition to the classics by Alain Tanner”Charles Dead or Alive” (Charles mort or vif – 1969) and “the white city"(Dans la Ville Blanche – 1983), and “The end of the world” (2019), by Basil da Cunha, Swiss-Portuguese director.

The list of documentaries has five works: “My English Cousin"(mon cousin anglais – 2019), by Karim Sayad, who was in Brazil in the last edition of Panorama to present “About Sheep and Men","A Scent of Freedom” (Ein Durft von Freiheit– 2020), by Ruedi Leuthold and Beat Bier, “Mrs.” (2019), by Stéphane Rietauser, “Contradict"(Contradict - 2019), by Peter Guyer and Thomas Burkhalter and “The journey” (Immer & Ewig – 2018), by Fanny Bräuning.

In addition, 10 short films divided into two programs are among those selected – one of which is entirely dedicated to children.
