The cultural debate of this Tuesday's edition of Café Antropológico takes place from the exhibition of the award-winning film Fresa y Chocolate (Strawberry and Chocolate) and will be guided by the Cuban reality, with its culture and social, political and economic contrasts.

To enrich the thematic discussion, the event has as guest Mario Pecheny, researcher at Conicet (Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas) and professor of the disciplines of Sociology of Health and Political Science at the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA).

Directed by Tomás Gutiérrez Alea and Juan Carlos Tabío, the film Strawberry and Chocolate is based on the short story El Bosque, El Lobo y El Hombre Nuevo, by screenwriter Senel Paz. The story revolves around the involvement between two antagonistic characters, who live a conflicted relationship full of contradictions. At the same time, the feature presents and reveals the various nuances of Fidel Castro's communist regime.
