The project Cinema Paredão aims to socialize and expand various audiovisual manifestations, seeking alternative and/or independent productions, which allow us to think and reflect on cinema as an art in constant change. Held outdoors, the session takes place in the CFH/UFSC Forest (or in the CFH Auditorium, in case of rain). The Square, directed by Ruben Östlund, tells the story of Christian, who is the curator of a contemporary art museum and who finds himself using every possible weapon to promote the success of a new exhibition. But sometimes it's hard to live up to your own ideals: Christian's response to the theft of his phone leads him into embarrassing situations. Meanwhile, the museum's public relations agency creates an unexpected campaign for The Square, which has several unfortunate and embarrassing consequences.
