O Rogério Sganzerla Cineclub is a project carried out in Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), with movie sessions followed by a debate. Sessions are open to the entire community. This time, the film shown is autumn sonata, by director Ingmar Bergman. The film is part of Ingmar Bergman show, which airs during the month of September, and celebrates the centenary of the Swedish director. Movie Synopsis: A pianist visits her daughter. While the mother is a renowned artist, the daughter is shy and depressed. This tense meeting, marked by memories of the past, reveals a relationship full of rancor, resentments and demands.
