Dona Bilica and the Papaya Ox em puppets is a show based on stories from the oral tradition present on the coast of Santa Catarina, folkloric manifestations and old songs. The plot brings the hilarious character Dona Bilica and her clumsy companion the clown Pina Blue. Dona Bilica wants to tell her stories, after all she has always been a good storyteller, her witch stories are the best, but the clown Pina Blue is very clumsy and is not finding the Boizinho, which she wants to show to play with the children.
The stories intertwine with the interaction of children who become active and try to help find the Boi, but where's the Boi? Why doesn't he show up? The instigation leads the child to understand what each character of the popular revelry represents and their imagination makes them play actively to unfold the plot. The two artists, in the end, lead the audience to this state of being part of the story, singing, listening, and thinking about how rich our culture is and how important we respect our traditions.Start: 08/12/2019 11:30
