the documentary film Faces of a Conflict, directed by the Brazilian André Auler, is shown free of charge in a session held at Cinema Room of the Integrated Cultural Center (CIC). Synopsis of the film: The documentary shows the experience of photojournalist Alexandro Auler during the month he was in Kobane, a city on the Syrian-Turkey border. The documentary goes beyond just a photograph of the conflict in the region. The proposal is also to reveal how it was the arrival in the city together with journalists from other parts of the world and how those people who consider themselves Kurds live in the midst of all the destruction. The film still shows civilian men and women who have become soldiers and risk their lives fighting the Islamic State; the ritual of funerals and the celebration of Newroz (the Kurdish New Year). All this through the vision of a Brazilian photographer.
