O Rogério Sganzerla Cineclub promotes the screening of the film This is England, released in 2006 by director Meadows. The exhibition is part of the Childhood & Circumstance exhibition. Synopsis of the film: Shaun is 12 years old and lives with his mother in a small coastal town in England, in 1983. Lonely, he suffers from the absence of his father, killed in the Falklands War. At the beginning of school holidays, he meets a gang of skinheads, in which he finds the friendship and role models he has been looking for. At a party, he is introduced to Combo, an older skinhead who has just got out of prison and adopts him as a protege. The man's racist stance impresses the young, but everyone admires him, and soon the gang begins to terrorize the neighborhood's ethnic minorities. carried out in Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), the Rogério Sganzerla Cineclub is a project with film sessions followed by a debate. Sessions are open to the entire community.
