Originally titled Jesus Christ Superstar, the film Jesus Christ Superstar is displayed free of charge in the Cine Art 7 Film ClubAt Badesc Cultural Foundation. Released in 1973 and featuring Ted Neeley, Carl Anderson, Yvonne Elliman, among other names in the cast, the film was directed by the American Norman Jewison. The film is part of the exhibition Music, camera, action!, held on Wednesdays in February and which aims to showcase great classics of the musical genre. Synopsis of the film: The last days of Jesus Christ told from the point of view of Judas. As the number of Jesus' followers increases, Judas begins to worry that he is falling in love with his own promotion, forgetting the principles of his teachings. The session is mediated by José Cláudio S. Castanheira, who is a professor of the Cinema Course at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Ufsc).
