The documentary The Master the Divine, made available by the Taturana Social Mobilization Platform is presented in the Cine Political Images, a project carried out six years ago by the collective of the same name in partnership with Badesc Cultural Foundation. Synopsis: Two filmmakers portray life in the village and mission of Sangradouro, Mato Grosso: Adalbert Heide, an eccentric German missionary, who, shortly after contact with the Indians, in 1957 began filming with his Super-8 camera; and Divino Tserewahu, a young Xavante filmmaker, who has been producing films for television and film festivals since the 90s. Between complicity, competition, irony and emotion, they bring their historical records to life, revealing behind-the-scenes aspects of indigenous catechization in Brazil. The project brings the film and proposes it right after a conversation with Manuel Ramos (anthropologist) and Tainá Orsi (graduated in Performing Arts, member of the Tribo Pachorra Teatro Livre).
