O Unisul Cineclub from April 12th to 14th, at 20pm, free screenings of the film The demons, from director Ken Russell. Originating from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the horror drama was originally released in 1971. Synopsis of the film: In 1631 France, during the violent Catholic regime fighting the Protestants, a mother superior begins to attribute her sexual fantasies with the most prominent priest in the village to demonic possession. The priest's political opponents, Grandier, decide to take the opportunity to remove him from power for good. That's when the horrors of the Holy Inquisition come into play.
