Rêves de poussière, or dust dreams, as it is called in Brazil, is displayed for free on Film club of the Badesc Cultural Foundation. The drama, directed by Laurent Salgue and produced in 2006, features Makena Diop, Adama Ouédraogo, Rasmané Ouédraogo, among other names in the cast. Synopsis: A Nigerian peasant seeks work in Essakane, a dusty gold mine in northeastern Burkina Faso where he hopes to forget the past. The session is mediated by Alex Brandão, who is part of the African History Studies Laboratory at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Ufsc).
