Free screening of the film Eyes Wide Shut – Stanley Kubrick Shows at Cineclube Camarim

! - This event/schedule has already happened - !

Born on July 26, 1928, in the Bronx, New York, Stanley Kubrick was a filmmaker renowned for his almost unhealthy preciosity. With 13 feature films in his seventy years of life, the director conquered the public and the critics. Interestingly, there were also 13 Oscar nominations and his only win was not as a director or screenwriter, but for the special effects of “2001 – A Space Odyssey”. In the month of March, the Camarim Cineclub honors Kubrick, showing a feature film by the director for free every week. The first feature film of the show is Eyes Wide Shut, the last film directed by Kubrick. The exhibition is on the first Sunday of the month (01/03).

Film Synopsis: When Alice admits to having sexual fantasies about a man she met by chance, her husband, physician Bill Hartford, becomes obsessed with the idea. He discovers a secret sex group and attends one of the dates, realizing he has gotten more involved than he should have.
