A Arab World Home Cinema Show will premiere the Lebanese film, unpublished in Brazil, ”1982”. The feature, directed by Oualid Mouaness, and which features actress Nadine Labaki, will be available on Monday, September 14, at Sesc's digital platform.

The Exhibition has been promoted since August 28, also on the mundoarabe2020.icarabe.org.

Synopsis of the movie: The great strength of 1982 is the portrayal of an imaginary line of demarcation between two worlds (the adult world and that of children): a boundary that separates those who know the truth from those who blissfully ignore the gravity of the situation; a line drawn by adults in an attempt to protect young people. On the one hand, representing the children's world, we have Wissam, while the spokesperson for the adult universe is his teacher, notably embodied by the Lebanese filmmaker and actress Nadine Labaki (Capernaum, Where Are We Going Now?, Caramel). Despite the political and anti-war spirit of 1982, this is not a military conflict thriller. 1982 is a hymn to childhood innocence, defending the unexpected way in which it manifests itself during one of the most terrifying moments in Lebanon's history.
