Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFC) this year offers 1.740 places in 42 higher education courses spread across 15 cities. The selection process for these vacancies will be through the Unified Selection System (Sisu). Participation in Sisu will be based on the scores from the National High School Exam (Enem) 2017, which are now available. The candidate who is classified, and called on the first call, must enroll in the Academic Records Department of the IFC campus for which he was approved. If there are vacancies remaining after the first call of the Sisu 2018 Selection Process, a Sisu waiting list will be made available. Candidates can only express interest on the waiting list for the course corresponding to their first choice. Vacancies are also reserved through the Affirmative Action System (quotas), as established in legislation.
