The forests that survive in the midst of environmental degradation and human senselessness and insensitivity are the subject of works by Juliana Hoffmann in the exhibition "Sobre Viventes", held in 2019 at Helena Fretta Galeria de Arte. Now the artist launches on February 11, virtually, the "Catalog About Living", which includes the 28 works on display, divided between texts - totaling 188 pages of publication.
The launch will be on the YouTube channel of Humana Sebo e Livraria, from Chapecó, at 19 pm.
During the broadcast, there will be a conversation between the artist and Helena Fretta, Rosângela Cherem, Flávia Person, Andrey Parmigiani, Thays Tonin and Onor Filomeno, and mediation by Fernando Boppré, Janaína Corá and Daiana Schvartz (Humana). Copies of the catalog will be drawn during the live.
The publication will be distributed free of charge and copies will be sent to art education institutions, libraries and arts centers. One digital version of the Catalog About Viventes will also be available online, for download.

The catalog presents images of 28 works, photographs from the exhibition, a brief retrospective of the phases of the artist's career, one of the main names in contemporary art in Santa Catarina, texts by Juliana Hoffmann and a series of visual artists, curators, historians and art researchers: Helena Fretta, Rosângela Cherem, Flávia Person, Thays Tonin, Andrey Parmigiani, Maria Esmênia, Onor Campos Filomeno, Josimar Ferreira, Floriano Martins, Kenneth G. Hay, Fernando Boppré, Juliana Crispe and Suzana Bianchini.
