O Victor Meirelles Museum headquarters o launch of the book Paths of the Contemporary and Sensitive Knowledge, organized by teacher Dr. Mara Rubia Sant'Anna (UDESC).
The date was chosen according to theemanates Victor Meirelles, when the artist's death on February 22, 1903 is remembered.
The publication is the result of a partnership signed in 2017 between MVM and the Fashion, Arts, Teaching and Society Laboratory (LabMAES) of the Arts Center (CEART) of the University of the State of Santa Catarina (UDESC), in collaboration with the Support Foundation for Santa Catarina Research. On that occasion, it autograph session and free distribution of copies.
The work, printed in 2019 by Estação das Letras e Cores Editora, is the result of cycles of lectures and courses held at the Victor Meirelles Museum in 2018, with the proposal to discuss issues relevant to contemporaneity such as Teaching, History, Memory, Heritage and Visual Arts. .
