Book release Possible Interlocutions Kosuth and Schwanke, organized by Maria Regina Schroeder Schwanke, Néri Pedroso and Rosângela Cherem. The bilingual publication is a realization of the Schwanke Institute and the Luiz Henrique Schwanke Museum of Contemporary Art, and is an offshoot of the project that in 2013 brought the North American experimental artist Joseph Kosuth, a precursor of conceptual art, to Joinville. The 260-page publication includes the conference A Double Read, given by Joseph Kosuth in the project Conceptual Art: reality and consistency?, held to mark the celebration of 10 years of the Schwanke Institute, sponsor of the Schwanke Contemporary Art Museum (MAC), in Joinville. It also aggregates the texts of Fernanda Pereira Medina, Sandra Tireck Junqueira, Euler Renato Westphal and an interview conducted by Neri Pedroso com Paul Herkenhoff, art critic who also joined the project as a lecturer. In addition, the work opens a field of reflection on language, philosophy, avant-garde and art history and helps the Schwanke Institute to fulfill its commitment to producing memory and thought around the artist from Joinville, who died in 1992, leaving a legacy in panorama of Brazilian art.
