! - This event/schedule has already happened - !

A Film and Human Rights Festival exhibits a series of short films with the aim of generating reflections on the characteristics of Human Rights. Synopsis: Ribbon Bow Pretty Girl (by Diego Lopes and Claudio Bitencourt, 2014) - The film addresses racial aspects and non-prejudice, through the harmonious coexistence of individuals of different races and colors. For this, it tells the story of a rabbit who, in love with the black color of his neighbor, does everything to be just like her. After several failed attempts, he ends up finding happiness in marrying a black rabbit and having white, black and piebald children. Prince of Enchantment (from Izis, 2014) - On the banks of the Rio Negro, Aninha's imagination takes flight while Vó Esmeralda tells her the story of Benito, the pink dolphin. Imagine a Girl with Brazilian Hair (by Alexandre Bersot, 2010) - Hair, the final frontier. Between grimaces and brushes, a girl travels in search of acceptance. Grandpa's Bike (by Henrique Dantas 2017) - The relationship between grandfather and grandson. In a far away place, O Reino do Sertão Pelejado, batmen capture legends through televisions. Then, the Super Tiger and the Master Councilor appear to save our planet from the evil forces of the Sorceress Mabá. It is by telling these stories that vô Rui transforms grandson Cauê's childhood into a universe of adventures and fantasies, re-signifying symbols through a more playful look at things in life.
