Sérgio Ricardo Special Exhibition – CIC Cinema

The Exhibition, in partnership with the Udesc extension project, tutored by Professor Rafael Hagemeyer. Brazilian filmmaker Sérgio Ricardo, 85, continues to create new films. Sérgio Ricardo made his first short film O Menino da Calça Branca with photography by his brother, Dib Lutfi and editing by Nelson Pereira dos Santos in 1961. His first feature film Esse mundo é minha, edited by Ruy Guerra, was commented as one of the best films of the year in Cahiersdu Cinema magazine. He also collaborated with the soundtrack of Glauber Rocha's main films, such as Deus e o Diabo and Terra em Transe.

Pedro works in a locksmith shop where he hasn't received a raise in years, which prevents him from getting married. Toninho, a shoeshine man, saves money to buy a bicycle.
