Otorhinolaryngologists promote free care at the Governador Celso Ramos hospital. The objective is to identify changes in the voice and guide the population about diseases such as laryngeal cancer, which affects 10 people in Brazil every year at a rate of five men for every woman. The activity is part of the National Voice Week. The task force is carried out in order of arrival, so there is no need to make an appointment. The goal is to serve up to 80 patients a day from 8 am to 17 pm, except on Wednesday (18/04), when consultations are held from 13 pm to 17 pm and 40 visits are made.
