Anyone who has walked through the center of Florianópolis has noticed that, every year, the giant graffiti panels increase, coloring and telling the city's history. Historical characters, unknown people – but who represent the people of the capital of Santa Catarina. And now the Florianópolis Campus of the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFSC) You will also have your graffiti on a large mural – and a free workshop where, in addition to learning more about the technique and its social impact, participants will be able to visit the work during its execution.

The actions of the project "Graffiti, social visibilities and technologies of art" aim to develop and disseminate scientific knowledge of the visual arts, through the research of artistic creation processes, specifically in this case, related to the technique of graffiti, with the artist Gugie Cavalcanti. It is a rare opportunity to experience the modes of creation and production of the graffiti technique. The idea was born in the extension project Atelier Livre, coordinated by professor Valeska Bernardo Rangel, who also coordinates the "Graffiti, social visibilities and technologies of art"

The workshop will be the second and the work itself will be the third – there will be two panels measuring 5,65m x 11,81m, portraying the theme of girls/women in scientific areas. The forecast is that the graffiti will be carried out between February 1 and 13, if there is no interference from weather conditions.
