Free French film screenings and debates at CIC Cinema

Four French films are on this week's schedule at the Gilberto Gerlach Cinema Room, at the Centro Integrado de Cultura (CIC). Sessions with films and debates, with themes of narrative, genre and language diversity, take place from Thursday to Sunday at 19:30 pm. 

Séance de Cinema Français is produced by the Cinematic Session in partnership with Cineclube Cinema Unisul, supported by the Aliança Francesa Florianópolis and the Museum of Image and Sound of Santa Catarina (MIS/SC). On the occasion, there will be a tribute to Gilberto Gerlach (1943-2021), founder of the Cineclube Nossa Senhora do Desterro. Admission is free, on a first-come, first-served basis.

19h30: conversation with Camille Malderez, a French doctoral student in Visual Arts at UDESC, a researcher on political conflicts in France and Latin America, and the recording images of these conflicts. Mediation by Allende Renck.
