Friday is live samba circle day with Nina Costa and band, who present an exclusive acoustic repertoire for the House, full of classics. The large house where Bar Açores is located today used to be a dry goods store. Built around 1780, the walls of the Azores were made with stones fixed with whale oil, oyster lime and clay. Internally, the stucco is made of içara palm slats, whale oil, beaten clay and lime.
