A Soul Zeppelin is a cover band that seeks to transmit to the public the same energy present in the live concerts of great bands that marked the history of rock.
The name is a tribute to one of the biggest rock bands on the planet, Led Zeppelin, a strong reference for the musicians that make up the band. With more than 15 years of experience, four musician friends from other big bands in the Santa Catarina rock scene decided to form their own band. The repertoire includes the entire Led Zeppelin discography, however, at each show there is a careful selection of Led's songs and songs from other great bands that marked seventies rock, such as: The Who, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Mutantes, Secos & Molhados and other great bands of the same lineage. Located in Córrego Grande, close to the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Chopp do Gus stands out for its cozy, tavern-style atmosphere and its exclusive decor, made up of paintings, caricatures, records and posters of rock celebrities. The place is very popular with young people, mainly because it is in a university neighborhood and contains live music, food and special cocktails in a single location. Establishing itself as a great place to eat well and enjoy a pleasant evening with the guys. On the menu, the exclusive portions with flambé dishes are successful; the alcoholic tip is the special drink of the house, the Diabo Verde, but drink it in moderation.
