Formed in 2008, Sociedade Soul mixes funk and soul with rock, jazz with electronic music, adding the Latin flavor of rhythms such as salsa and samba to create a unique, extremely danceable sound. With an infectious groove, tuned to the future, the quartet: Gustavo Barreto (vocals and guitar), André FM (drums and percussion), Diego Carqueja (keyboard and synthesizers) and Marco “Nego” Aurelius (bass and voice) actively represents the scene and the power of current Brazilian music.
In 2010, the band released their first album with unreleased compositions and songs already known to the public. Highlight for the song's animated music video Garden of Delights, selected at the most prestigious animation festival in the world, Anima Mundi 2010.
