Applications are open for the 14th Florianópolis Children's Film Festival. National productions of all genres and short films, preferably new in Santa Catarina, can participate in the selection.
The selected works are exhibited in competitive and non-competitive exhibitions. The festival awards the winners of the best animated film, fiction film and best series categories by the official jury, while the special prize is chosen by children. All winners receive a TV Brasil acquisition prize worth R$5.
The rules and registration form are available on the event's official website. The selection process is exclusively online, including the submission of films. The list of those selected will be announced at the beginning of April.
The Exhibition, which takes place between June 5th and 14th, seeks to strengthen and circulate national cinema aimed at children and young people. Its main objective is to discuss issues related to education, culture and audiovisual for children, promoting social inclusion.
