Marking the beginning of the activities of the Children's Film Club of the Integrated Cultural Center (CIC), six Brazilian short films are shown sequentially. Film club sessions are held every Saturday, at the CIC Cinema itself. The short films shown this Saturday, January 20, 2018, are: The young prince is directed by Ducca Rios and tells the story of the Young Prince who asks the King to give him a pony, and the King imagines him as a warrior in his cavalry. They go to the enchanted forest and several ponies and enchanted creatures introduce themselves to the boy, but he doesn't like any of them. H2Obby is directed by Fávia Lopes Trevisan and follows Hobby, a very curious puppy who finds a new and lively friend in an ice cube. However, as the story progresses, setbacks turn this recent friendship into a challenge. Turning people, by Analúcia Godoi, introduces us to Bruno, a boy who tells how he began to understand himself and the world around him, since he was still in his mother's womb. The best sound in the world, by Pedro Paulo de Andrade, accompanies the reflective passages of Vinicius, who does not collect stickers, cars, or comic books, but something that cannot be seen or touched: the sounds of the world. But this is not an easy task, especially when you decide to find the best of all: the best sound in the world. Boys and Kings, by Gabriela Romeu, is a documentary. In one of the most popular festivals in Cariri Ceará, the clown paints his face black, children learn to play swords with dexterity, and girls grow up like queens. But Maria, the queen of one of the most traditional kingships in the region, is in the last year of her reign. At the end of the plot, Directed by Patrícia Monegatto, it follows the plot of Léo, a ten-year-old boy, who is apprehensive. It's Saint John's day and he was named the conductor of the Pau de Fitas dance. Alongside Estela, his partner, Léo tries to resist external pressure and remember each step, so that each rehearsed gesture comes out perfect.
