O Cotton Candy Craft Festival, a pioneer event in the state when it comes to manual work, is the largest and most complete fair in Santa Catarina in this sector, receiving around 60 exhibitors - including artisans, shopkeepers and entrepreneurs in the artisanal sphere, selling everything from raw materials to finished pieces. It is also part of the festival to check the official exhibition of World Cup in Brazil, Giant Russian Dolls, with 2,60m high Matryoshkas, handmade and decorated with paintings that represent Russian culture. In this space, the public can photograph the dolls in an environment decorated with Russian themes, the country that hosts the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The event also has the space Craft Cup, where they are given patchwork workshops, embroidery, textile art, Besides the gym com Lu Gastal, who specializes in creative work on TV Globo's É de casa program, and author of the book Relicário de Afetos, and will talk about gifted women in modern times. The lecture and workshops will be free, registration will take place during the event, on a first-come, first-served basis. Another exhibition that integrates the program is the We are 10!, curated by paulista and textile poet Ciça Mora. The name of the show honors the ten editions of the event and receives pieces in art quilt and embroidery by Brazilian artists who value art when writing history. The fair is open to the public and brings to its admirers news in national and imported fabric, trims, patchwork, scrapbooking, dolls, painting, biscuit, French embroidery, magazines and books aimed at craft lovers, in addition to craft personalities such as the presenter Dotan, from the program Ateliê na TV.
