documentary screening Detours from Coxilha Rica, which tells the story of this important region of the Planalto Catarinense. It was part of the way of the ancients drovers that crossed Brazil taking mules from the Rio de la Plata to Minas Gerais. With its undulating relief, rivers, pine trees, araucaria trees, fields and preserved culture, it is a unique and special place, located in the Planalto Catarinense. It was the scene of important battles of the Farroupilha and Federalist revolutions. Lages was born from the ranches that were formed by the fields of Coxilha and became one of the richest municipalities in the state, as well as the birthplace of important Santa Catarina politicians.
