O Santa Catarina Historical Museum, based in Cruz e Sousa Palace, receives the exposure Boats from Brazil and the World: the naval model collection of the Museu Nacional do Mar. The exhibition intends to bring part of the collection of the Museu Nacional do Mar de São Francisco do Sul, which, like the Historical Museum, is also managed by the Fundação Catarinense de Cultura (FCC), to be exhibited in Florianópolis. There are more than 200 pieces of model making and naval crafts, which form the largest collection of their kind in the country and which, for a brief period, will leave the permanent exhibition in São Francisco do Sul to be exhibited at Palácio Cruz e Sousa. These are naval crafts and reproductions from the Alves Câmara Collection.
