Applications are open for the 17th Florianópolis Children's Film Festival, which takes place at Teatro Governador Pedro Ivo, from June 30 to July 8. Can participate in the selection national and foreign productions of all genres and formats in short films. Registration is open until March 9th. For national productions, the festival awards four prizes in partnership with Canal Futura: Best Animation, best fiction, Popular Jury Award and the Special Award. Each category receives the amount of R$ 5.000. The Best Foreign Film, selected by the public, receives a trophy from the Mostra and is shown in a special session, with live dubbing.
