The premiere of the documentary is shown Meiembipe, a history forgotten in time, the cinema of Integrated Culture Center (CIC). The documentary tells the story of pre-Columbian residents on the coast of Santa Catarina until Azorean colonization. Interviews with historians and anthropologists drive the narrative, with testimonies that mix history, lived experiences and typical accents from the southern region. It shows pre-Columbian astronomical observatories, rock inscriptions, habits and the cultural shock that occurred with the arrival of Europeans. The film is 45 minutes long and the indicative rating is free for all audiences.
