O Victor Meirelles Museum offers the Drawing Workshop for Children, accepting students aged between 10 and 14 with classes from 10 am to 12 pm. There is also a class for children aged between 6 and 9, with classes from 14pm to 17pm. The workshop's proposal is the introduction to the language of drawing, interspersing ways of doing and different materials, starting from body experiments to observation drawings, in the same way as Victor Meirelles did. There are two days of classes. In the first, the demystification of drawing and creative stimulation are worked on. The next, more technical day, the children learn how Victor Meirelles used drawing to study his works. The activity is carried out within the poster exhibition Victor e o Tempo Presente, under the theme Experimenting with drawing and tracing with Victor and in line with the Floripa da Gente project, which displays illustrations about the city on one of the walls of the exhibition room.
