O New Talents Project starts activities in 2019, promoting a differentiated workshop: the Vacation Workshop for Game Development aims to teach children and young people aged between 9 and 15 years the process of developing a virtual game. The purpose is for each participant to develop their first game, with the help of the project's teachers. The Novos Talentos project is a social project carried out by the Center for Informatics and Automation of the State of Santa Catarina (Ciasc) that aims to sensitize and train young people, especially from public schools, public educators, aiming to discover vocations and stimulate professional development to working in the information and communication technology sector, especially in the games and digital entertainment sector.
