The Rio Vermelho Camping, reopened at the end of last year, offers, in addition to a wide infrastructure for camping, an Environmental Education proposal based on stations that connect trails, composting areas, a teaching garden and seedling nurseries. As it is a leisure and tourism space, the Camping is the ideal environment for recreational activities and popular visits. The place is open to receive schools, by appointment, promoting tours guided by Environmental Educators, who provide activities such as treasure hunts, agroecology and planting seedlings for children, also explaining and teaching how the environment, conscious consumption and healthy eating.
