The Santa Catarina Engineers Association - ACE - is open for entries for the photographic contest whose theme is "The presence of engineering in society". The purpose of the contest is to expand society's understanding of what engineering is and its applicability in human society. The topics to be covered are constructions, bridges, viaducts and elevated; road network; energy and applications; environment and cultivation; chemistry and metallurgy; geology and mines and food. The first three places in the contest receive prizes of R$ 3 thousand, R$ 2 thousand and R$ 1 thousand and the best works will be exhibited during the events celebrating the entity's 80th anniversary. Registration is open on the ACE website until 15/4.
