Applications are open for the 19th edition of the INDIE Festival that this year will take place from 4 the 18 November with all film screenings and debates organized through virtual platforms.
Applications can be made until the 10th of September on a special platform at official website of the festival.
The Festival
The INDIE has been taking place since 2001 and is a reference among Brazilian film festivals, due to its persistence, quality of its programming and mainly due to the loyalty of its audience. For the first time in nearly 20 years, film screenings will be fully online.
The current edition will be dedicated to national and international independent short and feature films. in format online, the event will take place from November 04th to 18th.
Awards and Awards
A selected jury will be responsible for choosing the best films presented in this online edition of the festival. Three prizes will be awarded:
Best Indie Film Brazil: For the best national feature presented
Best Fluxus Film: For the best national or international short presented.
Best World Film Film: For the best international feature presented. For this, a distribution award will be awarded. The selected film may be distributed in cinemas in Brazil by Zeta Filmes.
